West Park hosts a variety of community events throughout the year and the event space area could be enhanced further so as to provide opportunities for more events and so attract more visitors to Long Eaton. This could include better drainage, improved parking provision, and the provision of basic utilities for events organisers (three phase electricity, potable water, foul sewerage).
